The winner, Arcadian Nights (GB), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Ffos Las on 11 August 2021, where the gelding finished fifth of six, beaten 11¼ lengths.
Mick Channon’s representative explained that, in their opinion, this was a weak race and Arcadian Nights (GB) benefitted from a strong early pace.
