Prior to this race, the representative of Ben Case was asked to explain why they were running Belles Benefit (IRE) here at Cartmel on Going officially described as Soft, Good to Soft in places, having reported that when the mare won last time out on Good ground, it was because she was suited by the quicker surface here at Cartmel on 28 June 2024.
The trainer’s explanation that they ran Belles Benefit (IRE) due to a lack of opportunities elsewhere was noted.
