Permission was given for Call Me Arthur (IRE) to wear a red hood in the preliminaries.
Jumping the first hurdle, SALLY’S GIRL, unplaced, jumped violently left-handed, badly hampering Everyonesacritic (IRE), placed fourth, and Delgany Dreamer (GB), unplaced, which in turn slightly hampered Try The Money (IRE), placed third.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference leaving the back straight, involving the winner Valens Bruyee (IRE), ridden by Sean Bowen, Try The Money (IRE), placed third, ridden by David Noonan, Everyonesacritic (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Isabel Williams, and Delgany Dreamer (GB), unplaced, ridden by Kielan Woods.
The interference was found to be accidental as both Williams and Noonan were improving their positions from behind, at the same time as Valens Bruyee (IRE) edged marginally left and Delgany Dreamer (GB) marginally right, which resulted in Try The Money (IRE) losing its position.
Following the race, James Turner reported that SALLY’S GIRL, unplaced, jumped badly left-handed throughout.
