- Stewards Report
LUDO’S LANDING (IRE) wore ear plugs which were removed at the start.
Approaching three furlongs out, the winner, River Usk (IRE), changed leads and edged left-handed carrying Wurkin Ninetofive (IRE), unplaced, off its line, which in turn caused LUDO’S LANDING (IRE), placed third, to take a slight check and shift left-handed, which then gave a light bump to Vince Le Prince (GB), unplaced, carrying it off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of River Usk (IRE).
Approximately half a furlong out, LUDO’S LANDING (IRE), placed third, and Tondeuse (FR), placed fourth, came close together and gave each other a slight nudge, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of LUDO’S LANDING (IRE).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Tondeuse (FR ), placed fourth, lost its left-fore shoe.
