The winner, BREDEN (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Newmarket on 28 September 2018 where the gelding finished fifteenth of nineteen, beaten by 13 lengths. Linda Jewell's representative's explanation that the gelding appreciated the recent break and the removal of the hood on this occasion was noted. BREDEN (IRE) was routine tested.
