An enquiry was held to consider interference 1½ furlongs out involving the winner, Catbird Seat (IRE), ridden by David Probert, Smart Boyo (GB), placed second, ridden by Hollie Doyle, and Floating Rock (GER), placed third, ridden by Jack Garritty.
Probert was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he had misjudged the size of the gap when angling right and attempting to take a run between Floating Rock (GER) and Smart Boyo (GB), resulting in his mount bumping heavily with Smart Boyo (GB), causing that runner to become badly unbalanced.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Smart Boyo (GB), placed second, hung left.
Tom Marquand reported that Blue Medici (GB), unplaced, stopped quickly.
