Permission was given for Heure de Gloire (FR) to go early to post; Dolly Delightful (GB) and Chosen Hero (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Dolly Delightful (GB), trained by Philip Hobbs & Johnson White, was late in the Parade Ring, due to difficulties saddling.
In order not to delay the race, permission was given for the mare not to Parade and to go straight to the start.
The winner, Tilly Toughnut (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Warwick on 22 January 2024 where the mare finished sixth of nine, beaten by 51¾ lengths.
It was noted that Henry Daly could offer no explanation for the mare’s improved form.
Tilly Toughnut (GB) was routine tested.
