Permission was given for Oslo (GB) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring.
An enquiry was held into the start and the possible withdrawal of Great Fengshui (IRE), ridden by Pat Dobbs.
The rider and the Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the start.
It was found that Great Fengshui (IRE) was deemed to have started as Dobbs was mounted as the start was effected but the colt had reared as the stalls opened getting one of his front legs stuck over the adjacent stall, and causing Dobbs to become unseated.
The Starter reported that Great Fengshui (IRE) was unruly and reared in the stalls.
Richard Hannon was informed that the colt could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
