Permission was given for Outrun The Storm (IRE) to go early to post, and for El Hibri (IRE) and Spioradalta (GB) to both wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start, involving El Hibri (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Miss Megan Bevan; On A Session (IRE), placed second, ridden by Miss Alice Keighley; and Maxi Boy (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Mr Ross Birkett.
Both being 7lb claiming amateurs, Miss Bevan and Miss Keighley were offered the opportunity to be accompanied but declined.
Miss Bevan was cautioned for careless riding as she moved her mount towards the rail when insufficiently clear, taking Miss Keighley off her intended line, which resulted in Mr Birkett becoming short for room and having to momentarily check his mount.
Following the race, Mr Ross Birkett reported that Maxi Boy (GB), placed fifth, was denied a clear run, approaching the final furlong.
