Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer
The Stewards requested a report from Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Perfect Tapatino (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent run at Naas on May 19th, when finishing 8th of 10 runners and was beaten by 19 lengths. Jim O'Brien, authorised representative for the trainer, reported that his charge disappointed on his previous run and felt a combination of today's distance and slow early pace had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form.
