Permission was given for Amazing News (GB) to wear a hood to the start and for Corofin (GB) to go early to post.
Approximately 3 furlongs out, Rock Of Diamonds (IRE), placed second, edged left carrying Saucy Encore (GB), placed third, marginally off its intended line resulting in Franny Norton, the rider of Anyonewhohadaheart (GB), unplaced, taking a slight check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the final bend when Amazing News (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Callum Shepherd, interfered with Centurion Song (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Nicola Currie.
The interference was found to be accidental as Amazing News (GB) hung quickly right-handed around the bend, despite the best efforts of Shepherd, carrying Currie off her intended line.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Amazing News (GB), placed fourth, hung right-handed on the bend.
