Permission was given for Precision Storm (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Wightman (IRE) ran the previous day, 10 September 2020, at Haydock and finished fourth of nine.
Having been examined by the Veterinary Officer, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 ½ furlongs from the start involving Wightman (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Miss Suzannah Stevens and Voltaic (GB), unplaced, ridden by Miss Jessica Llewellyn.
Being a 7lb claimer, Miss Stevens was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but as no suitable representative was available, she agreed to attend alone and was satisfied that she had received a fair hearing.
Miss Stevens was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as she allowed her mount to drift left-handed towards the rail from a prominent early position when insufficiently clear, causing Miss Llewellyn to take a pull on Voltaic (GB) to avoid clipping heels.
Approximately 2 ½ furlongs out, a weakening Two Blondes (IRE), unplaced, lugged left-handed before being corrected by its rider, hampering Wightman (IRE), placed seventh, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
