Reports in which Red Ivy (IRE) was mentioned
Kissed By Angels sprouts wings in Foxrock
Kissed By Angels took a marked step up in class in the Group Three Derrinstown Stud 1,000 Guineas Trial in her stride by powering home by three and a half lengths. Sun 10th MayReview navan 22nd Oct
Hannah's Magic (9-1) chose a good time to get off the mark as she landed the Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Fillies Handicap, the most valuable race at Navan on WednesdayWed 22nd Oct
"Right day" for In Salutem
The first winner at Navan, Red Ivy was in action as recently as Sunday, whilst in the case of In Salutem, scorer in race two, the Tote Jackpot Races Three To Six Handicap, he was reappearing quickly after his ninth placing at Dundalk on Friday night. Wed 22nd OctIvy bounces out quick to win
There was big confidence behind Red Ivy in the opening Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Median Auction Maiden at Navan and she justified 5/4 favouritism under Chris Hayes. Wed 22nd Oct
After race at Navan Wed, 22nd Oct, 2014 (1st)
We were lucky to get away with it and hadn't a clue coming here how it would go,. She ran very well in Naas. She got a bad bang coming out of the stalls and it knocked the stuffing out of her but she rattled home. She seemed very well so we let her take her chance. We think she's a very smart filly. She ran very well first time at the Curragh. We ran her back quickly and she got no run in a Listed race at Naas while Dundalk was a bit lively for her. We could start her off in something like the Madrid Handicap and hopefully take in a Guineas trial.
