There was big confidence behind Red Ivy in the opening Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Median Auction Maiden at Navan and she justified 5/4 favouritism under Chris Hayes. Wed 22nd Oct
After race at Navan Wed, 22nd Oct, 2014 (1st) 
We were lucky to get away with it and hadn't a clue coming here how it would go,. She ran very well in Naas. She got a bad bang coming out of the stalls and it knocked the stuffing out of her but she rattled home. She seemed very well so we let her take her chance. We think she's a very smart filly. She ran very well first time at the Curragh. We ran her back quickly and she got no run in a Listed race at Naas while Dundalk was a bit lively for her. We could start her off in something like the Madrid Handicap and hopefully take in a Guineas trial.
