He's a big raw horse and I picked him up for only 800 Guineas last summer. He showed promise on his first run but 1m 2f was then too far and on his third run the surface at Dundalk had been getting faster during the season and he didn't leave himself down. I was quietly confident coming here and he is ground dependant. He's still very raw and babyish and would get away with good to yielding ground but nothing quicker.

Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra; for each race won. Any horse rated above 85 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 10st. Subsequently, the excess over 85 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any three year old rated above 85 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap)
