It's great for Robbie. He rode around thirty point-to-point winners but he was out of the game for a while. He's with me the last two years and is a great worker. Himself and two girls and myself ride eight or nine lots a day. He gave him a brilliant ride, he never asked him and he kept it economical. It's great for Rose and John Devitt who are great supporters of ours. We had four horses here that we thought would make the frame and they did, and we nearly had a double. We were done by a head on the line earlier (with Ladiam). They're in great form and that's all down to the hard work at home. We've 25 horses in and we're working very hard to make progress.

That's great after being nabbed the last day. It's great that he got his head in front today and he deserved that. He belongs to great owners who are great supporters of ours. He'll keep at his own level and we will give him a break, we won't run him back too quickly, as he's had two runs in a week and he's done his job. We're delighted for the lads at home. We've had a great week, the horses are in good form and we'll enjoy it as we've had enough bad times!

After race at Killarney Mon, 5th Oct, 2020 (1st)
It was a very welcome winner as our horses got sick a year and a half ago and we haven't had a winner in that time. We hadn't a horse in the stable a year ago because we had to clear them out and it is great to get that winner. It is a credit to the lads at home who work every day and JJ (Slevin) gave him a great ride. It's great for John and Rose Devitt (winning owners) who are great supporters of the yard; it's onwards and upwards.
