An enquiry was held to consider interference half a furlong out when TERUNTUM STAR (FR), placed second, ridden by Josephine Gordon, interfered with the winner, COPPER KNIGHT (IRE), ridden by Paul Hanagan. Gordon was cautioned for careless riding as she had allowed her mount to drift right-handed without sufficient correction, giving COPPER KNIGHT (IRE) a slight bump.
Approximately 1 ½ furlongs out, KICK ON KICK ON, placed third, was checked when disappointed for a clear run between MIRZA, unplaced, and the winner, COPPER KNIGHT (IRE), which had edged slightly left-handed, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of COPPER KNIGHT (IRE).
