GENERAL INFORMATION The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Mr. M. Hickey (Chairman), Ms. C. Corballis, Mr. P. Coveney, Mr. M. F. Donoghue
The Stewards considered the reasons of "change in going" and "going" forwarded by trainers for their non runners at this fixture. Having reviewed the information posted on going descriptions and in consultation with the Clerk of the Course Mr T.V. O'Connell, the Stewards were satisfied that there was no material change in the going from the time of declaration to the commencement of the meeting and therefore did not accept the reasons forwarded. The Stewards imposed a fine of €200 on each of the trainers in relation to their non runners for the reasons as stated above. Each non runner was suspended for 2 racedays
An extended handicap steeplechase for five years old and upwards rated 0-95
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 12st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbs
Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each steeplechase won.
