Following the race, Harry Skelton reported that Global Dream (GB), which was pulled up, made several jumping errors and was never travelling thereafter and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Cornish Warrior (IRE), placed third, lost its right hind shoe and also that Rhaegar (IRE), which was pulled up, was lame on its right hind.
