Things didn’t go his way last year (after winning at Clonmel) but he’s back enjoying himself. He came down to 95 just to slot in there which suited him well. That only my second winner on the track and he’s given me the two. I’ve had a few point-to-point winners.

The Stewards interviewed Mr D.T. McGrath, rider of October Revolution, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr D.T. McGrath was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr D.T. McGrath for 1 raceday.
