An enquiry was held to consider interference after jumping the final flight when the winner Passam (GB), ridden by William Kennedy interfered with Nifty At Fifty (IRE), placed second, ridden by Bryan Carver.
Kennedy was cautioned for careless riding for failing to take sufficient steps to prevent his mount from lugging left-handed causing Nifty At Fifty (IRE) to be briefly crowded for room.
Being a 7 lb claimer Carver was offered to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Yorgonnahearmeroar (IRE), placed fifth, lost its right-hind shoe.
