Permission was given for PERCY’S LAD to wear a red hood to the start.
David Simcock was fined £290 for failing to notify the Racing Calendar Office that Magnetised (GB) had undergone Wind Surgery until after the gelding had been declared to run.
Callum Shepherd, the rider of Magnetised (GB), was unseated shortly after the start was affected.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no other horse or rider was involved and caused by MAGENETISED rearing in the stalls as the gates opened, resulting in Shephard being unseated.
MAGENETISED was deemed to be a runner.
Following the race, Laura Pearson reported that Goddess Of Fire (GB), placed third, hung right-handed throughout.
