The Starter reported that Oasis Sunrise (IRE) was unruly in the stalls and was withdrawn at 2:18pm.
Kevin Philippart de Foy was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Inside the final ½ furlong, the winner, Liberty Bird (GB) shifted quickly right-handed away from the whip, taking Mystical Elegance (GB), placed third, off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Liberty Bird (GB).
The winner, Liberty Bird (GB) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Haydock on 24 May 2024 where the filly finished last of eight runners, beaten by 27 lengths.
The representative of Charlie Johnston’s explanation that Liberty Bird (GB) had appreciated the step up in trip to 7f 96y on this occasion having raced over 6f last time out was noted.
Liberty Bird (GB) was routine tested.
