I'd delighted for Frank and he did what he was told. That's his first winner for me but has been with me for a few years,. He ran well at Christmas but had been out of action for a little while. Hopefully he'll improve and today's ground suited. He'll go for a handicap hurdle next and will make a nice horse over fences in time. John J Walsh, trainer

Weights - 4-y-o 11st 7lb; 5-y-o and up 11st 12lb; Mares allowed 7lb
Allowances - Horses that have not won a *race If 4-y-o allowed 5lb If 5-y-o and up allowed 8lb *Including flat races under any National Hunt Rules or Rules of Racing.
Riders - Confined to Professional under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the allowance under Rule 52 (iii). Allowances (which are not cumulative, up to and including 31st August) who have not ridden the winners of 25 **races allowed 4lb Those who have not ridden the winners of 40 **races allowed 2lb No allowance to riders under Rule 52 (iii) may be claimed.
