The Stewards interviewed Mr E. Monfort, rider, in relation to his riding in the closing stages where he appeared to stop riding and lost third place in the process. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Rule 212 and suspended him for five race days. Miss J.M.
