I had his mother and grandmother and it's great family and he's also related to Boston Bob and Briar Hill. He travels well but he was a bit disappointing a few times and didn't find a lot off the bridle in the past. He switched off early today though and when he does that he's a proper horse and I think the hood helped him finish out his race today. He deserved that as he's been running well all year and has never been out of the money. He's a Listed winner and Grade 2 placed so we'll aim pretty high next season. Timothy Doyle, trainer

An extended handicap steeplechase for four yrs old and upwards (150 = 11st 10lb)
Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap shall carry 6lb extra; for each such steeplechase won. Any horse rated above 150 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 11st 10lb. Subsequently, the excess over 150 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any four or five year old rated above 150 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap)
