The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Good Thyne Tara (GB), ridden by Mr E. Monfort, placed second, Peace N' Milan, ridden by Mr J.E. Flynn, placed fifth and Shattered Love, ridden by Mr L.J. McGuinness, placed first. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr.L.J. McGuinness was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his record, suspended him for four race days.

An I.N.H. flat race for four, five, six, and seven yrs old mares only that have not won a *race other than one I.N.H. flat race or National Hunt flat race
Weights - 4-y-o 10st 4lb; 5, 6 and 7-y-o 11st 2lb
Penalties - Winner of an I.N.H. flat race or a National Hunt Flat race 7lb extra
Riders - Qualified under I.N.H.S. Rules. Professional under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (iii) (up to and including 2nd March) may also ride in this race.
