Powersbomb lands the Punchestown feature
John Staunton rides him out every day and had him spot on. He said to me yesterday he’ll run a big race even though it looked very competitive for the end of May. He travelled super and jumped super. Phillip is able to switch him off and save a bit which he needs as he’s not the strongest finisher of all time. He came with one run which was fabulous. He might have a little break now and come back for Galway.

Call Me Dolly off the mark over hurdles
She was second in a Flat maiden on her debut for us. She has plenty of ability and won over a mile and a half on the Flat. We were worried that the ground might be a bit sticky for her but she has form on soft and yielding so she got through it well. James said she would have no problem stepping up to two and a half.

Well-punted Full Noise does the business for Dunne
He’s a big baby and was probably lucky to win.

O'Regan times it well on Cullen's mare
I’m delighted with that - she won first time out last year as well (at Ballinrobe). Denis O’Regan gave her a fabulous ride and the team at home are great, it’s a real team effort.

Apple Crumble lands a few tasty bets at juicy odds
I got her off Robert Tector about three weeks ago. He rang me this morning and gave me a good hand on how to ride her. He said don’t cover her up too much.
