The Stewards informed Michael Mulvany, trainer that Dew Line, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again. C.D. Hayes, rider of Byron Beauty trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action leaving the stalls. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Byron Beauty, trained by H.Rogers, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.
