An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final bend involving the winner, Bandsman (GB), ridden by Harry Skelton and Dallas Cowboy (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Ross Chapman.
The interference was found to be accidental as Dallas Cowboy (IRE) hung left across the heels of Bandsman (GB), causing Dallas Cowboy (IRE) to lose its action for a stride and stumble.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Ballyvic Boru (IRE), placed second, lost its left hind shoe and that Thahab Ifraj (IRE), which was pulled up, lost its right fore shoe.
