The Stewards interviewed Paul John Gilligan, trainer, in relation to his failure to declare a winners penalty for Glenwood For Ever, as required. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the trainer was in breach of Rule 194(2)(a), in that he had failed to declare the correct penalty and correct weight to the Clerk of the Scales, not less than one hour before the time for the running of the first race.
