Plenty credit must go to winning trainer Philip Fenton and his staff following SHER BEAU's win. The gelding looked a real star in the making in the past but has failed to reach his best, due, according to Fenton, to "more than one problem." He added "SHER BEAU is a very sound horse but is very unhealthy and is infection prone. He lives in a field, for more fresh air, and this is the first time in 18 months he has scoped right. However, he does have an engine when he is right. We might skip Punchestown in favour of the Killarney Festival in May."

NO FULL ran a sound race and probably ran to his rating. He cut his leg when pulled up on his previous run and this was a solid display. He is worth considering next time out, in a similar race or handicap.

JUSTPOURIT deserves to win more races but is difficult to place and is on a high enough mark. However, he did run well and also has claims next time out, in a similar race or handicap.

MACS FLAMINGO ran fine to take fourth while the very easy to back THE RAILWAY MAN has yet to regain his best form this season and disappointed.

MILITANT raced very wide but disappointed while BENEFIT NIGHT also disappointed.
