The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Email Rose (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
At the request of the Stewards, S.W. Flanagan, rider of Veneziano Springs (FR), trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a very bad mistake and became detached.
An extended handicap steeplechase for four years old and upwards (140 = 11st 10lbs)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 11st 10lbs and the minimum weight is 9st 12lbs
Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each steeplechase won.
