An exciting climax to the day with just a shorthead and a lengthy stewards enquiry between Picture This and Limestone Cowboy.

The latter adopted the familiar front running tactics of the Bowe family under Sonny Carey and put up a bold attempt to make all the running taking a wide route throughout.

However yet again the five-year-old failed to get his head in front just being touched off by the Michael Cullen trained Picture This.

Ironically Limestone Cowboy's regular partner Matthew O'Connor was doing the steering on the winner and he further enhanced his reputation as one of the most valuable seven-pound claimers around with a strong drive that saw him get up by the minimum of margins.

Picture This was prominent all the way and progressed nicely from his debut when he was seventh, nine lengths behind Endless Intrigue.

Judge Roy Bean and Time Electric were also up there throughout but former Cheltenham antepost favourite Time Electric dropped away rapidly and could only finish ninth. He was a big drifter near the off before some money at the off saw him been backed into odds of 10/11. He was examined by the Turf Club vet and found to be ?lame behind and distressed post race."

Judge Roy Bean was encouraging and if remaining at this level he can be sure to pick up a similar contest.
