Melody Of Scotland (FR), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Kelso on 8 May 2019 where the mare finished tenth of eleven, beaten 50 lengths.
Ben Haslam's representative's explanation that the mare benefited from wearing a visor for the first time and participating in what they considered to be a weaker race, was noted.
