Bilbo delights Murray and Kennedy
That's brilliant and I'm delighted for the horse,. On this kind of ground, on a stiff track, he wants two miles or two-and-a-half on an easier track. Paddy said he might even step up to three miles. He's very lazy but he'll find a lot for you, he's just off the bridle all the time. He got a flyer at the second last and that got us there nearly too soon. It all worked out well at the finish. When he had something to compete with he just kicked on again. He was to go to Ayr during the week for a novice handicap but it was called off. We'll try and find a novice handicap over two or two-and-a-half. He won't step up in trip at this stage.

Bird flies around to give Mullins Graded double
Patrick getting down to 11st 2lb paid off!. He jumped fantastic and way better than his first run. I was a bit worried would he be able to jump at the speed they would be going here. He jumped out, made his own running, and jumped very well. I'm very happy to have won that race with him. All the rain we got last night was a big help to him but certainly he seemed to have plenty of pace there. I don't know what route we're going to go but you'd have to think as a Supreme Novices trial that he'd be good enough for that, but he'll certainly be entered for the other races like the Ballymore. Jumping the way he did that brings the Supreme Novice into the picture. After his first run I was a little bit worried but certainly the way he was there he'd be well able to jump with any novice. The speed he showed was very good. He got a nice bunch of horses off the bridle and we're on the way up I think. He's staying sound so fingers crossed. I don't know yet if he'll go straight to Cheltenham. We'll see how he comes out of it. Carter Mckay (3rd home) had a nice run but he'll have to go up in trip I'd think.

No problems for odds-on Impact Factor
It's nice to get a winner when Mum is away. She's gone to Nicky Henderson's wedding,.

Goahead helps to Make Foley's Day
We haven't had many winners the last while but things are changing a little bit anyway,. Things slowed up a little bit at the time I was told I had cancer. It slowed up things for me a good bit. We're going to soldier on now one way or the other. They tell me I'm not too bad now so I'm not going to dispute it with them! If we get an odd winner it would be a help. It's hard because to me the big man has destroyed it. I was just saying it to the lads there that when we came up here years ago it was seven different trainers getting the winners and seven different owners. That's what made racing really good. No-one wants to see one or two lads winning all the races. I'd be happy if seven lads could win but we can't say nothing and we'll take it as it comes. We have a good owner and that means an awful lot. This mare went to stud last year but didn't go in foal and that's why she's back. She just ran into problems as she acted up in the box coming home from the stud. It didn't help her. Maybe we are getting over things and with a bit of luck from the man above it'll help things to change and make it better.

3 for Willie 2 for Patrick on good day for Mullins family
She's a nice staying mare. She's very laid back,. I might have another go at a bumper with her but I'll have a chat with the owner and maybe we'll go off jumping. I'm not sure what I want to do with her. It's grand to get her bumper out of the way. She gallops and stays and the fact that she's so laid back means she's going to get a much longer trip. It's a first win for a new owner, Paul McKeon.
