The Starter reported that Lady De Vega (GB) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 8:31pm.
The representative of Marco Botti was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Lady De Vega (GB) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the filly would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
The Starter reported that Boom Boom Boom (GB) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 8:34pm.
Stuart Williams was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
A query was raised into the apparent improvement in form of the winner, Forge Valley Lad (GB), which had never previously been placed.
Ed Vaughan’s comments that the gelding had benefitted from the step up in trip to 1 mile 3½ furlongs on this occasion and by being ridden with more restraint was noted.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Pearl Beach (GB), which started second favourite and finished second, hung left-handed and Isobel Francis reported that Evaporust (IRE), placed third, hung left-handed under pressure.
Denis Quinn reported that Casablanca Kid (IRE), unplaced, had a breathing problem.
