Carlo impresses on hurdling debut

I thought he was going to run out at the last but he jumped quite well up to that. We won't go to the Dublin Racing Festival because it's a bit too close, and we'll get another run into him before Cheltenham or Aintree or one of the Festivals. We will mix it over the summer with the Flat, and he could go for something like a Chester Cup or the Ebor. He stays well and will gallop all day. He settled quite well because in Leopardstown one day he ran quite keen and I was a bit worried in case we would light him up.

He was due that. I'd say the easy finish here helped him a bit as he quickens up for a bit and then flattens out.

Dallas wins easily on third start over flights

He's a grand honest horse. He doesn't do anything too fancy but he gallops and I'd say he appreciated the step up in trip today. Like a lot of the horses that Gigginstown buy, he looks a chaser for the future.

Elfile just prevails after duel with Tears

She had some nice form in France but she wasn't exactly showing off her form. We didn't come here full of confidence but she seems a natural jumper, and I'd say that's her trip and maybe softer ground. I think she'll improve and as I keep saying a lot of our maidens are a bit behind where they could be. We'll stick to that trip for the time being and she could go further in time.

He's a grand big horse and I haven't got him that long but he's been working well at home. He's straight forward and we’ll see what the handicapper does. Hopefully he can go for something similar again, and he stayed well. I haven't schooled him over a fence but he looks a chaser.

Rose makes all to complete double for Meade

That was great and we'll go jumping now. Mark said the cheek pieces were a help as she travelled really well. When she got into a bunch she was inclined to get a bit shy, and I think the fact that she got her own way in front today was a help. She'd been threatening to do that for a while. She's from a very good family that includes Harbour Pilot and is by Presenting. She'll make a nice broodmare some day.
