The Stewards enquired into the course taken by Miss K. Ferris, rider of Whenurgoodurgood, where it appeared the incorrect course was taken, continued on and finished the race. Evidence was heard from the rider who stated that her mount ducked out and went the wrong side of a direction post, she tried to pull him up but was unable to
Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Whenurgoodurgood, accepted Miss K. Ferris's explanation and took no further action
