Permission was given for Dubai Elegance (GB) to go early to post.
Leaving the stalls, Dubai Elegance (GB), placed second, jumped right-handed at the same time as Hot Romance (GB), unplaced, jumped left-handed which resulted in the winner Mighty Fine (FR) being bumped, Dubai Elegance (GB) having its quarters turned and GIGI’S BEACH, placed sixth, which was already slowly into stride being impeded.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong out involving the winner, Mighty Fine (FR), ridden by George Rooke and Hot Romance (GB), unplaced, ridden by Tyler Heard.
Rooke was cautioned for careless riding after allowing his mount to edge left-handed to the rail without being fully clear of a weakening Hot Romance (GB), briefly crowding Heard for room.
On the run to the line the whip of Darragh Keenan, rider of Harbour Storm (GB), placed fifth, was seen to make contact with Cam Hardie, the rider of Dubai Elegance (GB), placed second, once on the left arm.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found to be accidental.
