Formscan - RIBEYE impressed when scoring over an extended 2m7f at Musselburgh earlier this month, travelling strongly into contention before finding plenty in the closing stages, and the suspicion is that a 5lb rise may not be enough to anchor him. The unexposed Catch Catchfire was sporting first-time cheekpieces (retained) when scoring readily on his handicap/chase debut at Leicester recently and he commands respect. The class-dropping Elleon is also noted.
