< Agus A Vic returned to winning ways to land the richest race on the Tramore card, the W & T Supporters Club Handicap Chase.< Moncherie was a clear leader for much of the race, but Andrew Thornton always had Agus A Vic to the head of the chasing pack and the 7-2 chance drew alongside at the second-last.< Fever Pitch came from well off the pace to give chase, but a tremendous leap at the last from Patrick Martin's charge sealed a length and three-quarter win.< Glenstar made every yard of the running to land the Tommy Murphy Car Sales/Mercedes Benz Chase for John Ryan.
The 4-1 chance led the trio throughout under Davy Russell, who wound up the pace on the final circuit and stayed on strongly after the last to record an easy win.
Willie Mullins' Sweet My Lord (9-10 favourite) opened his account over fences at the first attempts when beating Lord Ben by three and a half lengths under David Casey.
Odds-on favourite Dare To Doubt s attempt to make all in the Harney's Of Dunhill (Ladies) Maiden was foiled as Great Oak (5-1) jumped clear on the final turn to score by five and a half lengths under Adrienne Foley.< Zalantoun was another short-priced favourite to come unstuck when he was outbattled by Spider Zagato in the BBQ Evening At Tramore Races Maiden.
The pair pulled well clear of the rest with half a mile to run and it was Tommy Stack's 11-2 chance who pulled out more on the home straight, winning by three-quarters of a length under Wayne Lordan.
Ben Curtis may have had to settle for second on Zalantoun, but he made no mistake in the Like Tramore Racecourse On Facebook Handicap as Quench The Flame (11-4) took the spoils.
Curtis then notched a quick double when guiding Tommy Carmody's Hartside (4-1) to an easy 11-length victory in the August Festival Centenary Handicap.
