John McConnell provided half the field in the four-runner Assembly Techniques Weekend Jolly Handicap at Tramore and won the four-horse race with the front-runner Blue Ridge Lane
Well beaten on three previous visits to the track, the eight-year-old was sent off a 7-2 chance and appeared to have it all to do with the Willie Mullins-trained evens favourite Shamar in the contest.
