Joseph O'Brien continued his excellent run of form as he partnered Monsieur Joe to victory in the Kilfrush Stud Abergwaun Stakes at Tipperary.
A day after the jockey recorded a four-timer at Leopardstown, O'Brien soon had the Paul Midgley-trained runner out in front and never looked like being caught in the Listed contest.
The 3-1 joint-favourite stretched clear impressively to beat fellow British raider Iffranesia by a length and a half.
O'Brien was out of luck on 8-11 favourite Port Douglas in the Coolmore Canford Cliffs Stakes, which went to Waipu Cover.< Play The Game made a bold bid to make all and did his best to hold off the late challenge of the winner, but the Ger Lyons-trained 9-2 chance just had too much in the locker and got up by half a length.
