< Time For Action showed a smart turn of foot to land the feature race at Tipperary, the South Tipperary Tourism Fundraiser 6th October Handicap.

Settled off the pace by Wayne Lordan, the David Wachman-trained 4-1 chance hit top gear in the final furlong, gunning down Tri Na Ceile and going away to score by a length and three-quarters.< Diamond Stilettos may have only cost 800 euros at the sales, but she made over 10 times that amount when flying home to score in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maide.

Anne Marie O'Shea's filly was sent off 9-4 second favourite after a promising debut at the Curragh eight days ago, and after tracking favourite Amygdala for much of the race, the daughter of Ad Valorem sprinted away at the furlong pole, scoring by two and three-quarter lengths under Andrew Thornton.

Thornton just missed out on a double when his mount Red All Star failed by a nose to reel in South Ring in the Follow Tipperary Races On Facebook Maiden.

Pat Smullen kicked for home early on the 2-1 favourite, and that move proved crucial as she clung on to victory by the narrowest of margins.< Teocht (4-1) took the spoils in the Family Day Super Sunday Fillies Maiden, keeping up a strong gallop under Kevin Manning to beat A Star Is Born by two and a quarter lengths.< Kentra ran out a ready winner of the Super Sunday 6th October Claiming Race, beating Banker Burke by three quarters of a length under Gary Carroll.< Hilltown Gal (9-1) got up under the shadow of the post to land the Follow At TipperaryRaces On Twitter Nursery Handicap, beating Ever Yours by a short-head under Ronan Whelan.

Colin Keane's excellent form continued when he booted home Sword Of Light (7-2) in the tipperaryraces.ie Apprentice Handicap, getting up inside the final furlong and running on really well to beat Hail Shower by four and three-quarter lengths.
