< Bleu Berry just came out in a thrilling battle with Outspoken to land the Listed Irish Racing Writers Kingsfurze Novice Hurdle.

Willie Mullins' 5-2 joint favourite looked to be travelling much better than Outspoken approaching the last, but the latter got away from the hurdle quicker and had a narrow advantage.

Paul Townend drove Bleu Berry back on terms, though, and he gradually got the measure of his rival, winning by a short head at the line.

Mullins made it a quick double when long odds-on favourite Townshend eased to victory in the John Kelly Beginners Chase.

The Grade Three Naas Directors Plate Novice Chase saw all four runners being owned by Gigginstown House Stud, with 2-1 joint-favourite Ball D'Arc taking the spoils.

Always travelling kindly for Bryan Cooper, Gordon Elliott's charge was already in front when fellow market leader Gangster clattered the last fence, and cruised home to score by 15 lengths.

Ellmarie Holden's excellent season continued when Abolitionist landed the Download The Ladbrokes Exchange App Leinster National Handicap Chase.

Rachael Blackmore moved the strong-travelling 12-1 chance into the lead on the home turn and he kept on well to beat Folsom Blue by

Patrick Mullins happily made all aboard the the 1-5 chance, and though his rivals closed the gap on the home turn, Townshend cruised clear once more to score by 19 lengths from Teacher's Pet < Rathpatrick found plenty up the run-in to land the Naas Supporters Handicap Hurdle.

The 16-1 chance pulled clear with Carrig Cathal approaching the last and though the latter got away from the final flight slightly quicker, Jody McGarvey found an extra gear on Eoin Griffin's charge, running on strongly to score by a length and a half.< Never Off Duty (4-5 favourite) rallied when headed after the last to land the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle for trainer Robert Tyner and jockey Donagh Meyler.
