< Larkwing struck for local trainer Eric McNamara and 7lb claimer Robert Jones in the feature Tim Duggan Memorial Handicap Chase.

Jones made progress on the 11-2 shot halfway down the back straight and even had the audacity to look over his shoulder for any dangers.

Larkwing was always travelling well and joined long-time leader Will Jamie Run before the second-last fence.

After opening up a clear lead before the final obstacle, Larkwing put in a fine leap that clinched victory.

Jones raised his right arm in triumph as his mount galloped past the line nine lengths clear of Will Jamie Run, with Whinstone Boy a further three-quarters of a length away third.

French import Quiamo Malta (8-1) made a winning debut for trainer Paul Nolan in the Cornstore Maiden Hurdle on his first outing for 721 days.
