< Hurricane Fly was the star of the show on the top-class Fairyhouse card, outgunning old rival Solwhit in the closing stages of the Bar One Racing Hatton's Grace Hurdle.

Despite making his seasonal debut, the 11-4 chance travelled strongly throughout and dispelled any stamina doubts over the two and a half miles by heading Solwhit after the last and staying on for a length-and-a-half call.

His trainer Willie Mullins struck again when Zaidpour proved a class apart from his Bar One Racing Royal Bond Novice Hurdle opponents.

The 4-7 market leader lost a little bit of momentum at the second-last but Paul Townend soon had him back in cruise control and he ambled 12 lengths clear of Pineau De Re

Mullins had to settle for second when J'y Vole couldn't quite catch Tranquil Sea (5-2) in the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase.

Mullins' market leader Cooldine set the pace until the straight but was passed by the Edward O'Grady-trained winner, who stuck to his guns to score by three-quarters of a length.

There was agony for Mullins in the Bar One Racing Drinmore Novice Chase when the much-vaunted Mikael D'Haguenet crashed out at the last.

He was upsides eventual winner Jessies Dream and seemingly going better but knuckled over on landing, allowing Gordon Elliott's 7-2 chance to prevail by five lengths.

Elliott's Toner D'Oudairies was sent off the 8-11 favourite for the Grade Three Bar One Racing Juvenile 3-Y-O Hurdle and after moving up to land over the penultimate flight in a share of the lead, Davy Russell only had to keep him up to his work to see off Kalann by two and a half lengths.

Mullins was back in the winner's enclosure after Golden Silver took the O'Connell Group Hilly Way Chase, while Asigh Pearl (16/1) beat top-weight Fosters Cross in the Bar One Racing Handicap Hurdle.
