Review curragh 27th Jun
< Dar Re Mi hit the right note for owner Lord Lloyd Webber in the Audi Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh.
The 9-2 shot made all the running under Jimmy Fortune and just held the persistent challenge of Beach Bunny by a short head.
Ralph Beckett's Look Here the 11-8 favourite, got going all too late and finished third.
Lloyd Webber's wife Madeleine said: "She has been second in two Group Ones and come up against to very good fillies (Lush Lashes and Zarkava).
"She was also second in a photo-finish last time so she really deserves this."
The winner now automatically qualified for a Breeders' Cup entry, and she added: "I would love to go to the Breeders' Cup."< Profound Beauty made a successful seasonal debut in the At The Races Curragh Cup.
The Dermot Weld-trained five-year-old travelled sweetly for Pat Smullen in the straight and moved up to challenge after long-time leader Mad Rush faded away tamely in the final quarter-mile.< Yankee Doodle went on, but Profound Beauty soon joined him. Alandi tried to come between the pair but could not get through the gap before it closed.
Profound Beauty (5-1) had been going best of all and went on to score by a neck & ndash; despite the lack of race fitness.
Weld said: "This was her midsummer target and she's just got tired in the last 100 yards.
"She's in the Irish Leger, and that's going to be the obvious follow-on from here.
"The Melbourne Cup is again her end-of-year target. She was only beaten just over two lengths in it last year and I think she's a stronger filly this time around."
Joseph O'Brien continues to shine and the 7lb claimer steered top-weight Johann Zoffany (8-1) to an all-the-way win in the William Fry Derby Festival Handicap for his father, Aidan.
