< Domination remains on target for a tilt at the Cesarewitch on the level at Newmarket after dismissing the opposition in the feature JP McManus Hurdle at Cork.

Davy Russell was always travelling sweetly on the Charles Byrnes-trained 2-9 favourite as Silk Hall took them along in the two-and-a-quarter-mile test, with Supreme Doc for company.

Supreme Doc took over four out, but Domination eased past after jumping the second-last and ran on in untroubled fashion to score by three lengths.< Flaxen Flare second in the Galway Hurdle last time, had little more than an exercise gallop in winning the three-runner Corkracecourse.ie Hurdle at odds of 1-9 and is being aimed at the Ladbroke at Ascot.

Davy Condon sat second for most of the way on Gordon Elliott's four-year-old, who jumped past long-time leader Choisilady at the third-last before easing to victory while the hurried-along Massini's Trap closed to within a length.

It was plain sailing again for Condon when he completed his double with an easy success on Noel Meade's 1-3 favourite Curley Bill in the Family Day Out Maiden Hurdle.

The five-year-old, who brought smart Flat form into the race, quickened into the lead between the final two flights and won with plenty in hand even though Fantasy King ran on strongly to get to within two and a quarter lengths.

Paul Flynn's 5-1 joint-favourite Limpopo Tom was strongly challenged all the way down the straight in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle but Brian Cawley kept him going to hold Goal by a length and three-quarters.

There was a 50-1 shock in the Follow Cork Racecourse On Facebook Mares Maiden Hurdle when William Hayes's grey Go Deimhin who had plenty to do turning in, led going to the last under David Splaine and forged two and a quarter lengths clear.

Patrick Cronin's 16-1 shot Baidin Fheilimi collared long-time leader Samantha Jones going to the last in the Munster Handicap Hurdle and surged clear to win by six lengths under Pierce Gallagher.
