The market spoke in favour of Zelaniya in the fillies median auction maiden at Gowran and she duly did the business for Dermot Weld.
The Aga Khan filly was held up in the early stages of the mile contest before taking closer order turning for home.
Pat Smullen sent the well-backed 9/4 favourite (4/1 in morning) to the front a furlong-and-a-half from home and she kept on well in the final furlong to beat Set In Stone by a length-and-three-quarters.
The easy to back In Somno who had been as short as 11/10 this morning and went to post a 5/2 shot, could only finish sixth.
The winner had been last of 13 on her debut in a six-furlong maiden at Leopardstown in August.
"She settled nicely and quickened up well. Things didn't go well the first day and a lot of work and effort went into producing a different filly,” said Weld.
"That's it for this year, and we will look for some black type in the spring."
